Membership runs per calendar year. New members are always welcome!
Existing members are encouraged to renew their membership in January, and that way they are covered for both our shows, and any production they wish to take part in with other local theatre companies on an associate basis.
Membership fees remain at the very low rate of $10 per person, or $20 for a family. Under-18's will need to have their form signed by a parent or guardian.

What are the benefits of membership?
The most important one is insurance - when you are participating in an activity as part of the Musical Comedy Company, you are covered by accident and third party liability insurance in the event of an accident. For this reason, no one who has not paid their membership can be allowed on stage.
Secondly, we are obliged to keep a membership register, so it helps if the records are up to date! If you are taking part in a show which offers our members associate status, your CHMCC membership will cover you for that production.
Other benefits include receiving "Upstaged", our bi-monthly newsletter, and regular news updates and invitations to social events by email.
For this reason, please keep us advised of any changes to your email address! If you haven't been receiving regular newsletters and updates, it's probably because you have changed your email address and not let us know.
