Tell me about why you wanted to be a part of the committee?
I am passionate about theatre in Coffs Harbour and providing opportunities for people to explore and express their talent.
What do you want the theatre community to know about volunteering in theatre?
Volunteering for anything you're passionate about is fun, but can also be hard work. The pay off, is being involved in a great community and bringing joy and delight to thousands of people on the Coffs Coast.
What is your dream role/ production that you would love to be a part of?
The Countess Lily Malevsky-Malevitch in Anastasia would be an awesome role to play.

Tell me about why you wanted to be a part of the committee?
I am happy to give my time as I have gained so much over the past few years with CHMCC. We have a strong team and I look forward to contributing to the evolving local theatre scene.
What do you want the theatre community to know about volunteering in theatre?
Live theatre is exciting and dynamic. CHMCC shows have always had high production values, and that is due to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Every little bit helps, and we simply couldn't put on our shows without our members input.
What is your dream role/ production that you would love to be a part of?
It's hard to pick a favourite. I think that any show or role can be rewarding and just being involved is enough.

I want to use my experience of being on other committees and involvement in community organisations to support CHMCC and its members.
What do you want the theatre community to know about volunteering in theatre?
We are a volunteer organisation and all volunteers play an important role whether on the stage or in another capacity. It is also a great way to connect with others and meet some wonderful people.
What is your dream role/ production that you would love to be a part of?
There are too many wonderful shows to choose from. I would be thrilled if I had a lead role but I imagine that's a lot of people.

Tell me about why you wanted to be a part of the committee?
I wanted to be a part of this committee because I enjoy being a part of theatre, but in a 'behind-the-scenes' sort of way. I knew I was capable of helping out on the committee, so I put my name forth in 2020 and have been here ever since.
Additionally, I have previously been on another committee as their President for 3 years (several years ago now) and during my time there I helped with implementing a lot of positive change; so I hope I can do the same for this company. My goals always have the benefit of the community and membership in mind.
What do you want the theatre community to know about volunteering in theatre?
It can be a very fun, challenging, rewarding, and thankless job, but it is so worth it! To be a part of productions in a variety of capacities is so wonderful, being able to learn about yourself and others in a unique way is awesome. I especially enjoy seeing the experiences of the patrons as they leave a performance, as this is a feeling like no other. The cast and crew take the patrons on a journey that is so unlike the every day, and hearing their praises afterwards is just really cool.
What is your dream role/ production that you would love to be a part of?
I have a few... I would LOVE to be a part of Beetlejuice, Sweeny Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, SIX, Bonnie and Clyde, Dear Evan Hansen (to name a few) as these are are a couple of my 'mainstream' favourite productions, BUT I also really enjoy Starkid productions (check them out on YouTube), especially Firebringer and The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. As for being on the stage... I feel I am more suited to background work, but I would be willing to give anything a go.

What do you want the theatre community to know about volunteering in theatre?
I am onboard to make theatre a place that everyone can enjoy. I also am very keen to put more time into our Social Club this year. Yay!!!! I would like the wider community to know my door is always open. Anyone who ever finds communicating difficult, your one of the reasons I’m doing this. Don’t ever hesitate to reach out to me

Everyone knows I’d like to play Woopi in Sister Act.

After co- directing SOR this year, helping in various roles, my daughter participating in a few CHMCC productions and being a passionate performing arts teacher I thought it might be a nice opportunity to help contribute to the community and learn some new skills.
I also feel really passionate about helping provide opportunities for our younger performers of musical theatre to embrace the performing arts as they are the future of the theatre.
What do you want the theatre community to know about volunteering in theatre?
Volunteering in any capacity for any committee is a wonderful way to give back. Volunteering within the theatre is a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together through the arts. I am very passionate about providing opportunities within the theatre committee to bring people together through the arts. Connecting and bringing the magic of performing to members and the wider community is very rewarding and I am really passionate about providing and promoting the theatre to the youth in our community as they are the future of theatre and the performing arts.
What is your dream role/ production that you would love to be a part of?
Well I think I already have had the opportunity to be a part of some of my favourite productions in the past year or so and co directing school of rock was such a memorable experience. I am not sure what I would love to be a part of next but would love to have the opportunity to do more directing and learning more about the production side of things in the future as I find this so fulfilling and inspiring and love this side of creating.

Every show needs volunteers even just for bump in and out. It’s a lot of fun to get in and help, spending time with friends.
What is your dream role/ production that you would love to be a part of?
My absolute dream role is Sweeney Todd. But there’s a huge number of shows and roles that I’d love to either put on or take a part in.
