The King and I
Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical based on the book 'Anna and the King' by Margaret Landow was directed by Judi Williams in May 2011.
The production featured lavish costumes, and a wonderful period set involving full size panels which could be drawn across the stage instead of the usual curtains, and when closed, featured a huge painted Buddha.
The two principal roles, Anna, played by Dee Tune, and the King, played by Peter Hodges were very demanding roles, and were enhanced by a fine supporting cast, as well as an ensemble of Royal Wives, and a children's ensemble of 13 kids aged from 5 to 12!
